Kitchen Renovation

It's always exciting when clients are ready for a complete kitchen
transformation
—and that’s exactly why Patrick and Hillary reached out
to us.

From the very beginning, they were a pleasure to work with. They had a clear vision for their dream kitchen, which allowed us to move quickly through the design process and focus on bringing their ideas to life.

For those in the Charlotte, NC area looking for a reliable home remodeler, we would love to talk about your project and offer free estimates

BEFORE

BEFORE

AFTER

Demolition began in February 2024 on what was originally a spacious, U-shaped kitchen that was ready for a modern update. Before any demolition work, our team thoroughly protected the workspace and walkways with floor coverings to ensure a clean and careful process.

We didn’t alter the overall layout drastically, but we did make some strategic changes. The window above the sink was removed to make room for beautiful white oak floating shelves, complete with dimmable LED lighting.

We also adjusted the cabinet layout to improve functionality—relocating the fridge, eliminating the double oven, and moving the built-in Bosch coffee maker to the far left. The layout was a collaborative effort between our team and the clients, designed to optimize both practicality and aesthetics.

Design Details

To create contrast and warmth, we used two cabinet colors: classic white shaker cabinets along the walls and a honey shaker finish for the island. We incorporated smart storage features such as pull-out trash cans, sliding racks, and appliance towers with dedicated space for items like the KitchenAid mixer.

A white oak-wrapped range hood adds a custom, organic touch that ties in beautifully with the floating shelves above the sink. For countertops, we chose Calacatta quartz with subtle cream, brown, and
grey veining—a perfect match for the backsplash and overall kitchen palette.

The backsplash itself features a stunning glass mosaic tile in translucent grey, paired with light grey grout. This choice adds texture and depth, reflecting light beautifully throughout the space.

Fixtures & Appliances

The clients opted for satin nickel cabinet pulls paired with a silver faucet and pot filler—an elegant mix of finishes that complements the kitchen’s overall design. Appliances were selected with both style and performance in mind. We installed a built-in Bosch coffee maker and a Café slide-in double oven, which offers excellent versatility for cooking and baking.

Rounding out the appliance suite are a Café refrigerator, dishwasher, and drawer microwave—all seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry for a clean, high-end look.

Both our team and the clients were thrilled with how the project turned out. The result is a functional, stylish, and welcoming kitchen that reflects Patrick and Hillary’s vision and personality—an absolute pleasure to bring to life.
